Equipped with a running board, the Silverado 2023's Durabed body offers an impressive load capacity of 1,731 kg (3,817 lb). 12 hooks secure the load of mobile materials. The Chevrolet Silverado 2023 HD offers 2 powertrains:
- A direct-injection EcoTec V8 engine with variable valve timing. This EcoTec V8 delivers 401 hp at 5,200 rpm and 464 lb-ft of torque at 4,000 rpm. It comes standard with a 6-speed automatic transmission, or with an available 10-speed automatic transmission.
- A 6.6-liter Duramax turbodiesel V8 developing 455 hp, a powerful 910 lb-ft of torque and a towing capacity of 16,329 kg (36,000 lb). This turbodiesel is mated to the Allison 10-speed automatic transmission.
